Friday Favorite: {The Wonky Donkey}

One of my new favorite singable books (courtesy of a recommendation from Kylie Horwath), is The Wonky Donkey by Craig Smith. In this hilarious book, we learn something new about this silly donkey with each new page having a different word associated with him. For example, he only has one eye so he is a “winky wonky donkey”. In the end you get a spunky, hanky-panky, cranky stinky dinky lanky honky-tonky winky wonky donkey. I use this book to address academic skills, expressive communication skills, and sequencing skills.
