Three Sensory Friendly Experiences in the Twin Cities

We are always so thankful for the overwhelming support that we receive at our Sensory Friendly concerts. Providing a musical experience for everyone to enjoy is a service that we are proud to give to our community. Today we wanted to share several other sensory friendly resources in the Twin Cities, provided by The Special Needs ShortList, sponsored by the Autism Society of Minnesota.

Sensory Friendly Films

AMC Theatre in the Eden Prairie Mall offers sensory friendly film showings throughout each month. To check out when these sensory friendly showings are, click here!

Sensory Friendly Theater Performances

The Children’s Theatre of Minneapolis also offers special sensory friendly shows. Some upcoming sensory friendly performances include: The Wiz on Friday, March 16 at 7PM , Corduroy on Friday, May 11 at 7PM , and Dr. Seuss’s The Lorax on Friday, June 8 at 7PM. For more information, click here!

Sensory Friendly Story time

Wild Rumpus Bookstore offers sensory friendly story time! These take place on the second Thursday of January, February and March from 9:30-10AM! Wild Rumpus Bookstore is in Minneapolis and welcomes children of all ages and abilities for story time and  is free of charge. To learn more, click here!
