Music Therapy Internship

Looking for an exciting internship experience that will give you opportunities to work with a variety of populations with relevant service delivery models in today's world? Toneworks Music Therapy seeks motivated music therapy interns to join our team of thirteen music therapists! As a Toneworks intern, you will be equipped with the tools to develop your therapeutic skills by immersing yourself in a supportive, forward-thinking culture that delivers music therapy services with a progressive approach. While interning at Toneworks, you will have the flexibility to work with experienced music therapists to create a caseload with unique populations in a variety of settings. The clients we serve range from birth to end of life, with an emphasis on group music therapy for people 3-21 yrs oldw ith a variety of disabilities and diagnosis in schools. Other populations and settings include co-treat groups with other therapies, individual and group sessions in homes and our office, and social skills collaborative groups with local organizations. In addition to clinical services, you will also have the chance to join in music related activities outside of our direct services in the Toneworks Community Enrichment program. These include lifelong learning opportunities, local field trips with partner organizations, music therapy co-therapy groups, art therapy, adaptive yoga, and our Therapeutic Learning Center.
