One of our music therapists will meet with the parent/guardian and prospective client to determine if music therapy is a suitable treatment option.
Assessment
The music therapist will perform a one-hour assessment, analyzing the data collected to determine developmentally appropriate goals and create a measurable, time-based treatment plan. The music therapist will create treatment plan on Unitus Therapy Intelligence (an online portal which parents/guardians can access at any time).
Sessions
Your music therapist will work with you to schedule a time that works best for your family. See our rates below.
There are many options for funding music therapy services. These include, but are not limited to:
- Minnesota Waiver Programs- Consumer Support Grants
- Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flex Spending Accounts (FSA) through private insurance
- Private Pay: In an effort to reduce barriers to high quality therapeutic services, we offer flexible payment options for private pay clients.
